Atlanta, USA - Wow 2009 was a very big year in celebrity news. In it we saw the presidents of France of and the United States officially become inducted into the world of celebrity status. We were blown away by the sex scandals of golf’s squeaky clean Tiger Woods, stricken with grief over the deaths of Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett and left discombobulated by the strange death of the perky Brittany Murphy. But the year also had it bright moments too. The following are our picks for the top celebrity news events of 2009:


- President Barack Obama, First Lady Michelle Obama joined top stars Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, Alicia Keys, Kelly Rippa, Daniel Craig named to Vanity Fair’s Best Dressed List for 2009. The former supermodel & current First Lady of France, Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, joined actresses Penelope Cruz, Anne Hathaway, Rene Zegweller and French actress legend Catherine Deneuve on the list.
